Producing high-quality steel wire and strip products requires a continuous, synchronized system. Below is the technical process workflow designed and built by Beijing Orient Pengsheng:
The raw steel coil is loaded onto a low-carbon steel strip slitting line. High-rigidity rotary cutters split the master coil into narrow strips with precise width tolerances. This maintains edge straightness for subsequent forming steps.
The slit strips run through an ultrasonic cleaning line. Ultrasonic transducers strip away rolling oils, dust, and oxide residues. This provides a clean metallic surface that ensures strong weld joints during forming.
The clean steel strip enters the roll-forming station, where it is shaped into a "U" profile. At this point, the flux powder is metered and deposited into the channel. The machine then closes the profile to form an overlap or butt seam.
The formed wire runs through straight-line drawing machines. Tungsten carbide rolling cassettes gradually reduce the wire diameter to its final size. This process cold-works the steel shell and compacts the core powder to the correct density.
The finished wire is wound onto spools using a high-precision layer winding machine. Servo-driven traverse systems align the wire perfectly, preventing tangles and ensuring smooth feeding on automated welding stations.
For bulk delivery, the wire is packed into drums using a high-speed pail packaging machine. This provides solid, layer-by-layer distribution that keeps the wire clean and dry during transport.
